3. Health Guarantee & Buyer Protection
We take extreme pride in our breeding program and perform rigorous health and genetic testing (including DNA analysis, respiratory assessment, and orthopedic evaluations) on all Sire and Dam pairs.
A. 72-Hour Initial Health Inspection Guarantee
Veterinary Exam Requirement: The Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving the puppy (excluding Sundays and statutory holidays).
Initial Health Claim: If the examining Veterinarian certifies in writing that the puppy is suffering from an acute illness or pre-existing severe physical defect that renders it unfit as a companion, the Buyer must notify us within 24 hours of the examination. Upon return of the puppy and official veterinary documentation, Big Rope Fluffy Frenchie will provide:
A full replacement puppy of equal value from the current or next available litter, OR
A full refund of the purchase price (excluding transport fees).
B. 1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee
Covered Conditions: We guarantee our puppies for 1 full year (12 months) from the date of birth against severe, life-threatening congenital or genetic defects (such as severe congenital heart defects, fatal liver shunts, or genetic conditions preventing a normal quality of life).
Remedy: If a licensed Veterinarian diagnoses a fatal genetic condition within the first year, supported by diagnostic evidence (X-rays, bloodwork, or specialist reports), Big Rope Fluffy Frenchie will provide a replacement puppy of equal value from our next available litter.
C. Guarantee Exclusions
Standard, manageable, or environmental puppy conditions are not covered by the health guarantee (e.g., intestinal parasites/giardia, treatable skin allergies, injuries sustained after transfer, hypoglycemia, or conditions resulting from improper nutrition, overexertion, or heat stress).
Brachycephalic-related traits standard to the French Bulldog breed (such as mild snoring, elongated soft palate, or stenotic nares) that do not impair daily quality of life are excluded unless categorized as severe by a specialist vet.
